What to Expect


Sunday Service is at 10:00 am

We gather every Sunday to connect with each other and encounter God through worship, biblically based teaching and prayer.
We believe when we come together as a church, both on Sunday and throughout the week, God will use us to change the world.

What about my Kids?

The Gathering at Adell’s Children’s Ministry is equipped with staff and volunteers who desire to create a fun environment for your child to encounter God. Our Children’s Ministry is located to the left of the Foyer. We currently offer 2 classrooms, our Baby Room (3-36 months) and our Toddler Room(3-5 year olds). If you are a guest, please go to the guest check-in in the Foyer. One of our volunteers will get you checked in and walk you to your child’s classroom.

Coffee and fruit

Before heading into service, stop by to grab a cup of coffee and some fresh fruit. The coffee station is located to the right of the Foyer.

What to Wear

Don’t worry about dressing to impress. We’d rather you just come as you are- whether you’re in jeans, khakis, a jacket or flannel, you’ll fit right in.

Teaching Style

A typical Sunday service lasts around an hour and a half. Our services consist of a time of worship and biblically-sound, relatable teachings, as well as an opportunity to receive ministry and prayer.

Meet Adell Staff

Jeff Hopkins

Lead Pastor

Jeff and his wife, Lauren, have been married since 2002 and have 8 children and 1 wonderful daughter-in-law. They have been in ministry since 2004 in several different capacities and have yet to tire of the Kingdom work. They are so excited to partner with the community of Adell to love people in the spirit of 1 Corinthians 13:7 – never giving up, never losing faith, always hopeful, and enduring through every circumstance.

Brady Sandlin

Executive Pastor

Brady and Amy Sandlin serve as our Executive Pastors. They have 6 beautiful babies. They are in love with their Bridegroom Jesus and long to see Malachi 4:6, “the hearts of the fathers return to the hearts of the sons and the hearts of the sons return to the hearts of the fathers.” They believe in revival and heaven invading earth!

Kellie Kiel

Worship Pastor

Kellie has been married to her husband Eric for over 17 years and together they have 4 children: Zion, Levi, Silas and Rhema. Kellie has been leading worship for over 25 years. As a family, the Kiel’s are passionate abut using their gifts and talents to serve the church and seeing the Kingdom of God advance in Parker County.

Bre Silvey

Children’s Pastor

Bre has been married to her high school sweetheart since 2015. They have 2 amazing boys, Peyton and Jensen. She has been a part of The Gathering since 2011! She has had the great joy of working in the Children’s Ministry in different roles over the years. Bre was the Assistant Children’s Pastor for the Brock Campus from 2020-2021. With the new plant of the Adell Campus Bre has taken on the role of Children’s Pastor. It is truly her honor to get to work with the kiddos in our church, teaching them the truth of God’s Word and how real His love is.
